Pastor Ryan Eikenbary-Barber

I grew up in Seattle, Washington with a three year detour in Salt Lake City, Utah.  In 1990 I moved to Chicago to study at North Park University.  I left North Park seven years later with a Bachelors Degree, a Masters of Divinity Degree and my wonderful wife Amy.  For two years I was a youth minister at Winnetka Covenant Church in the Chicago suburbs.  The next five years I served as the associate pastor at Bethlehem Covenant Church in Minneapolis.  Along life’s way God has blessed Amy and I with three lovable children: Anja, Lukas and Peter. 

           Now it is my great joy to be the church planter and pastor of Anchor Covenant Church.  I moved to Lake Geneva in March 2003 because I felt that God was calling me to help the people of Anchor Covenant Church change this community with the loving message of Jesus Christ.  It is my heart’s desire to see new friends grow closer to Jesus.  It is my great passion to see Christ’s followers “do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with their God.”  It is my sincere hope that God will use our new church to link many more people to the hope of God.
